Grand Dame


 Here are my favorite photographs from Advanced Style.


I never got to know my grandmother from my mother's side because she passed away when I was two. But my mother said she always had great style, and I've also seen old family pictures (see here) and it made me wish I grew up with her. I want to know how it feels to have grandparents. Maybe she would have taught me how to cook and sew. And I wonder perhaps what lectures or scolding they'd give me haha. But my grandparents from my dad are also with God now, but we were not close. What stories have you inherited from your grandparents? Any tips from them on how to live life? Oh, please share!

    I still have a grandmother on my mothers side and grandfather on my husbands side. The advice I've heard the most is to enjoy life and stay happy. don't stress over things you cannot change or things that have already happened.
