Last weekend we went to Boracay with my family.
We landed on Kalibo airport, we had to take a two hour drive to the ferries
going to to Boracay. The plane ride from Manila to Kalibo was a quick 30 minute ride,
it was the two hour drive to the ferry port going to Boracay that was long and we
arrived at sunset.

We stayed in Cohiba Villas in a beautiful three bedroom apartment.

Rain, rain, go away! |
It's not clear, but look who gave us a visit? |
miss waking up to this view |
The only problem I have with Boracay is that because it's a tourist spot, it's too crowded,
even when it's not Summer. And I think almost 60% of the tourists smoke, plus, even the
locals and small shop owners smoke too, so, the air is completely not healthy.
The only place which don't have smoke is the beach side and inside restaurants.

M

I love the shade of purple in the second photo. I have never been there, believe it or not.
ReplyDeleteWow, the place where you stayed in looks so great! I haven't been to Boracay mainly because we're 15 minutes away from Samal Island, so we're not really beach-thirsty, but your photos might just change my mind. :D
ReplyDeleteWe also stayed there in Cohiba Villas. It was a perfect hotel away from the noise in white beach.I agree that it is too crowded. we went there on a summer and grabe it feels like the sea was public swimming pool. hahahaha =)
ReplyDeletewow that villa will make me feel like I'm a celebrity if I stay there, haha.
ReplyDeletehope your back's not hurting anymore.

I mixed feelings about Boracay kasi nga it can get so congested but of course the beach is really beautiful! I just hope they manage the area really well so tourists can still continue to enjoy it for a long time to come. Glad you had fun!
