Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival at Kia Theatre

I'm quite sure all of us have loved and still love Disney. We all have been 

little children once too, right? ;) 

 And certainly, Disney is a part of our childhood. But, as a matter of fact,

I think Disney never left our bodies. Because no matter what

age we are, we will always love anything Disney! From singing along

to the beautiful Disney songs, to seeing a favorite Disney character

toy in the mall, and, admit it, you wear t-shirts with your favorite characters

printed on them! Disney is indeed a part of our lives ;)

I know this because, now that I am a mother, every time there

is a classic Disney movie on Disney Channel, I always end up

singing along to the songs that my three year old just laughs up at me ;)

So when Disney Live! came back to Manila, my daughter got excited to

see her favorite Disney characters! And it was also the first show in years at the 

newly renovated New Frontier Theatre (Asia's biggest theater back in 1965!),

 and will now be known as Kia Theatre after a collaboration with

the distributors of Kia Motors.

The Show

Act I, Mickey's gang and Aladdin

Minnie, Donald, and Goofy where dancing, and (drum roll please...)

there's the one and only Mickey Mouse! 

 And of course, all the children

and adults loved that they interact with the spectators. It's just like

watching an episode of Mickey Mouse Club House, but nothing beats 

seeing them live, right? ;)

Aladdin is absolutely one of my favorite Disney movies. I remember my sister 
and I bought CDs and cassette tapes of the musical scores when we were younger.
And seeing A Whole New World that night with the talented Aladdin and Jasmine
made me fall in love with the beautiful song again ;)
And I must say the magic carpet is so cute!!!

                                

Act II, Little Mermaid

All of the acts depicts the stories of the Disney movies in a nutshell. 

It's short but the story line is complete. And in The Little Mermaid,

they danced to the hip and fun tune of All the Single Ladies by Beyoncé

featuring the daughters of King Triton, the sisters of Ariel!

It was a pleasure seeing  great talent and even my dear Belle

was dancing to the tune ;)

Act III, Toy Story

Et voilà! Belle is so thrilled to see her favorite Woody and Buzz!

In my opinion, this is the crowd favorite. Because there was the funny and

delightful Bull's eye the horse, who can't seem to jump rope but still tries!

And they taught a dance number to the audience, which I was so happy

that Belle did it too ;)
